This 1930’s foden steam wagon, a fully working steam truck that burns coal, will be at this month’s Car Show. Look for this at the Sooke Car Show on July 23, 2017. According to the organizers, this is a one-of-a-kind in Canada.
The Sooke Car Show takes place on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Sooke River Campground (aka, the “Flats”). It starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m.
There will be vendors for the Swap and Shop portion, as well as home made pies for sale. Admission is free.
Parking and a Shuttle Bus will be available from Edward Milne Secondary School on Sooke Road and SEAPARC Leisure Complex on Phillips Road to transport participants to the Car Show. The Shuttles will be running about every 15 minutes.
